Newman’s Book Publicity Kicking off a Great New Year
Happy New Year from everyone here at Newman Communications! We are all very excited for what 2011 will bring for the ever-evolving publishing industry. It’s been a pretty unsteady two years for everyone involved, but as the dust settles we hope the industry will be better for it. Here at Newman we are very excited by a number of book publicity projects that we have been invited to work on.
In the month of January and into February, we will be working on one of the best books from 2010 — UNBROKEN by Laura Hillenbrand. Coming off her incredible success with SEABISCUIT, Hillenbrand’s new book details the inspiring true story of a man who lived through a series of catastrophes almost too incredible to be believed. According to the author, the story of Louie Zamperini–a juvenile delinquent-turned-Olympic runner-turned-Army hero — is spellbinding. Readers must agree as Laura has hit #1 on the NY Times list. Congrats Laura!
Newman is also thrilled to be working with Stacy Schiff, the author of another NY Times Bestseller — CLEOPATRA. The book brings to life the most intriguing woman in the history of the world: Cleopatra, the last queen of Egypt. The reviews on Stacy’s book have been remarkable and certainly well deserved.
