Basketball Star, Chris Paul, Turns Childrens Book Author
In the same state the legendary Michael Jordan laced up his Nikes, Chris Paul, also known as CP3, would grow to be another North Carolina basketball prodigy. Although he possessed talent similar to “His Airness,” the not-so-tall Chris Paul would never physically fill the shoes of a giant.
Yet, his lack of height would not stop him from reaching his dreams.
In Chris Paul’s new book LONG SHOT: Never Too Small to Dream Big, the NBA All-Star and Rookie of the Year shares one of his own childhood memories to help inspire young athletes, particularly those who do not physically resemble Shaquille O’Neal.
Prior to the book’s publish date in September, Newman Communications helped draw up a flawless book publicity tour right before the buzzer.
Many kids believe they will grow up to be professional athletes. They envision themselves wearing the same jersey their heroes wear. Chris Paul is one individual who never lost sight of that dream. Although the chances of becoming a famous ball player are incredibly slim, LONG SHOT teaches children the benefits of working hard and always believing in themselves. Whether you are a committed sports fan or not, Paul’s vibrant book aims to help parents teach their children strong life values.
Publicity firm Newman Communications worked hard to spread the court on this tour. The lanes are now open for Chris Paul to go coast to coast with Long Shot’s message.
